Waiver of Deposit (SDW): For some apartment rental contracts (excluding full season rentals), a refundable deposit of at least USD 52 is required instead of a deposit. This coverage offers up to $1500 in accidental damage protection to your rental unit and is issued by the Red Sky Insurance Company. If the owner uses a deposit instead of the damage insurance, it is due 30 days before check-in and is refunded until check-out 30 after check-out, unless a right to damage is invoked. Non-smoking requirement: Many rental property owners prohibit smoking in or around their rental unit. Tenants are expected to respect the wishes of the owners and not smoke in smoking areas. If signs of smoking are detected in a property designated as non-smoking, the tenant is charged for a full cleaning and an additional deodorization fee of $250 USD. Occupancy limits for all rental properties are set by the municipalities in accordance with their individual rent regulations. The occupancy limit for each rental property appears in each rental agreement and on a sign that must be displayed in each rental unit. These occupancy limits are strictly enforced.
Pets are not allowed in any rented property without the prior written consent of the owner. Additional fees or bonds may be charged if permission to accommodate a pet under a rental agreement is granted by an owner.
